Is there a really simple phone for seniors?

Question

My mom can’t remember phone numbers anymore. Can you recommend a simple-to-use phone for her that I can program numbers into?

Our answer

Phones these days can be difficult for seniors to use, especially as we move more towards smartphones and touchscreens. However, there are commercial phones specially designed for older users.

Agecomfort.com, for example, has a number of simple, programmable phones that might be suitable for your mom. Here is a direct link to agecomfort.com’s programmable phone selection.
