Is there an app that will track my husband's Vitamin K levels?

Question

Now that my husband is on Warfarin and needs to watch his Vitamin K levels, is there an application that can help me with planning his meals?

Our answer

As you know, Warfarin is an anticoagulant that is used to prevent heart attacks, strokes, and blood clots. Those who take this medication must watch their Vitamin K levels.

Several apps are available that may help your husband stay on track. Some provide the amount of Vitamin K found in various foods, others track one’s daily intake of the nutrient, while others offer substitutions in recipes. Check them out to see which functions work best for you.
